Frequently asked questions

Do I need Shopify Plus to use this app?

No. ZS B2B Gateway works on all Shopify plans — Basic, Grow, Advanced, and Plus. On Standard plans, we use a tag-based system to manage wholesale customers and discounts. On Plus, we additionally integrate with Shopify's native B2B Company features.

How long does setup take?

About 5 minutes. After installing, our setup wizard guides you through enabling the theme block, configuring your form, setting up a default catalog, and publishing. You'll be receiving wholesale applications the same day.

Can I import existing customers as wholesale?

Yes. You can manually add the "wholesale" tag to existing customers in your Shopify admin. Our pricing rules and visibility controls work based on tags, so any tagged customer immediately gets the discounts and access.

Will price changes affect my existing orders?

No. All discount changes only apply to new orders going forward. Existing orders, refunds, and historical data remain untouched.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

Your Shopify data (customers, discounts created by the app, segments) remains untouched. We follow GDPR best practices — our internal data is automatically deleted 30 days after uninstallation.

Do you offer a free trial for paid plans?

Yes, all paid plans come with a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime. Plus, our Free plan is forever free with up to 5 applications per month.

Can I customize the application form fields?

Absolutely. Our drag-and-drop form builder supports 10+ field types including text, dropdown, file upload, phone, email, and more. You can add as many custom fields as you need (unlimited on Starter and above).

How do customer segments sync with Shopify?

When you enable "Sync to segment" on a tagging rule, we automatically create a matching customer segment in Shopify using a query like customer_tags CONTAINS 'wholesale'. Any customer with that tag automatically appears in the segment.
