Quick answers about billing, upgrades, and refunds

How does billing work?

All billing runs through Shopify's official app billing system. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice alongside your store subscription. We never charge your card directly — that's why you don't need to enter payment info to install.

You can view and manage your subscription anytime under Settings → Apps and sales channels in your Shopify admin.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes — anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated based on your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

If you downgrade below your current usage (e.g., from Pro to Starter with 80 applications already this month), the app keeps working but new applications pause until the next billing cycle.

Do you offer annual discounts?

Yes. Switch the billing toggle to annual at the top of this page and you'll save 20% on every paid plan. Annual billing is charged upfront and renews automatically each year. You can cancel anytime and we'll prorate the refund.

Is there a free trial on paid plans?

The Free plan is essentially an unlimited trial of core features (up to 5 applications/month). For paid plans, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee — if you're unhappy within the first two weeks, email contact@zilancer.com for a full refund.

What happens if I exceed my plan's application limit?

On Free and Starter plans, once you hit the monthly limit, new submissions are paused and applicants see a "Temporarily unavailable" message. You'll get an email and admin notification suggesting an upgrade.

Pro and Plus plans have no application limits.

Are there any hidden fees?

None. The price you see is what you pay — no per-application fees, no transaction fees, no email send fees.

The only exception is extreme file storage usage (over 100 GB total). If you ever approach that, we'll reach out about a custom storage tier first.

Do you offer custom enterprise pricing?

Yes — for stores with 50,000+ monthly applications, multi-store deployments, or specific compliance requirements, we offer custom pricing. Contact our sales team with your needs and we'll put together a proposal within 48 hours.

What's the difference between Pro and Plus?

Pro ($49/mo) works on every Shopify plan and includes everything most wholesale operations need — unlimited applications, all automation features, and priority support.

Plus ($99/mo) is specifically for stores on the Shopify Plus tier. It unlocks native B2B Companies, catalog assignment, location-based pricing, and dedicated support with SLA. If you're not on Shopify Plus, Plus features don't apply — Pro is the right choice.

What payment methods do you accept?

All payments go through Shopify's billing system, so we accept everything Shopify accepts — credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Shop Pay, and any country-specific methods Shopify supports for your region.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes — 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans, no questions asked. For partial-month cancellations after the 14-day window, refunds are reviewed case by case. Email contact@zilancer.com to start a refund.
